New trip and comment on comments

Well, it looks like the old blog will be firing up again. Another trip in the offing. More later...

However, I also want to mention that I have turned on the "verification" comment feature. If you make a comment on my blog you will be shown an image which contains letters (arranged so that it is difficult for a program to interpret, but relatively easy for humans). You will be asked to enter type in the letters. I am doing this because lately I've gotten a few comments that are obviously spam-type ads. If this does not work I'll turn on moderation (meaning that I have to approve before you comment appears).

Sorry about the hassle; I would really love to hear from anyone reading my blog if you have comments or questions about what I am posting. I DON'T want ads about personal products. Grump.
