Wedding Bells

I'm very thrilled to be going to India again, but this will be different. This time, I am going to attend the wedding of my friend Sandeep R. I have been invited to a number of friend's weddings in India, and I have never been able to attend before (although you may recall from a previous post that I was lucky enough to be there to attend a pre-wedding lunch put on by Ashlesha). This time everything worked out perfectly so I am able to go. The other thing that made it easier is that I am attending with a couple of other friends, Clarete and Alol. I felt very badly that I was unable to attend THEIR wedding last year. But this year we will travel from Bangalore to Mangalore together where they will show me around Alol's home city, and then we will go to the wedding in nearby Udupi. I'm getting excited, and as usual, I will post my experiences here. I'm leaving on March 3, the wedding is March 7, the reception (in Bangalore) is March 12, and I will return March 15th.
